Doggie Day Camp
This is a day training program. Space is limited and training days are set by the trainer based on availability. We suggest a meet and greet with our trainers to make sure it is a good fit for everyone.
Our trainers will then work with your dog on specific behaviors that you need more focus on such as jumping, recall, etc. We will work with your dog on how to disengage from environmental stimuli and distractions and focus on you!
They will also have nap time and learn how to relax. Training will be centered on what your current issues are with your dog and are specific to each dog and owner’s needs. At the end of each day, you will receive a report card and homework assignment which the trainer will review with you.
Dogs should have required vaccines.
Board and Train
Our Board & Train Programs are an intense lifestyle training program, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week at our training center. The programs are designed to give your dog a strong head start by removing bad habits, addressing anxiety and fear issues, and putting a strong routine into place for both dog and owner.
Our facility consists of indoor/outdoor climate-controlled kennels which are maintained and secured 24 hours a day and monitored by video surveillance.
We offer several board and train packages ranging from 2 – 6 weeks.
Space is limited so book your consultation today!

Specialty Training
At Paws 4 Purpose we take pride in assisting those with needs beyond just basic training. Our professional training services also include but are not limited to:
ESA (Emotional Support Animal) : ESA’s are animals that provide comfort just by being with a person. But, because these dogs are not trained to perform a specific job or task for a person with a disability, they do not qualify as service dogs under the ADA.
Therapy Dogs : These offer opportunities for petting, affection, and interaction in a variety of settings on a volunteer basis.
Service Dogs : According to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a service dog is “a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability.” A service dog is trained to take a specific action whenever required, to assist a person with their disability. The task the dog performs is directly related to their person’s disability.
SAR (Search and Rescue) : Proper training for a SAR dog takes hundreds of hours of specialized training. We can assist in laying the ground work with obedience, scent detection and tracking.
GRC Dog Sports : GRC Dog sports is a new breed of dog sport. It seeks to celebrate and test not only the dog’s gameness (G), but the relationship (R) with the handler, and the dog’s self control (C). For more info follow this link.
Behavior Consulting
Behavior modification is different from dog training. Behavior modification requires an expert understanding of animal behavior. Dog training, and dog trainers, concentrate on teaching skills through repetition. Thus, dog training is perfect for teaching Sit, Down, Heel, Come when called, as well as for skills such as agility, retrieving on command, and such. A behavior specialist concentrates on figuring out WHY a dog is doing an unwanted behavior, and to develop a solution that meshes with a dog’s natural instincts. You don’t want to go to a pet store dog trainer to solve behavior problems. They don’t have the knowledge or background to do it properly.
Aggression With People Or Dogs:
No dog owner should attempt to remedy dog aggression on their own. You are in over your head. You need to hire a professional behavior specialist.
Destructiveness/ Chewing / Separation Anxiety:
Dogs that break out of their crates, are destructive, chew stuff that isn’t a toy are stressed and improperly managed. Sometimes the problem is inappropriate management and training of the dog. In other cases, the problem is Separation Anxiety. Learn how to make your dog happier and less stressed, and how to solve these types of problems.
Unpleasant Greeting Of Guests:
Barking, Jumping, Running Out The Front Door, Growling: Is your dog out of control at the front door? Most dogs are horrible when guests arrive. I expect a dog to notify me, through barking, that a guest has arrived. What I don’t want is then for the dog to continue to bark out of control, jump up on people, run out the front door, or threaten my guests. This is a SERIOUS PROBLEM.
These are just a few of the common problems we address. For behavior modifications, we generally schedule a consult with you and your dog in the home to assess the situation in its natural environment. Upon assessment, we will generate a plan to assist in whatever specific problem you would like to address. Contact us today to schedule your in-home consultation!
